PROJECT DESCRIPTION
ARISE is an Erasmus+ cooperation project that harnesses the power of Artificial Intelligence to make career guidance and vocational education more inclusive and accessible for people with disabilities.
The project brings together partners from Austria, Cyprus, Latvia, Greece, and Estonia to develop an AI-powered toolkit that supports both career counsellors and job seekers with disabilities. This innovative toolkit integrates assistive technologies, personalised career guidance, and AI-based learning resources to improve employability and inclusion.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
- Bridge the accessibility gap in career guidance and vocational training.
- Empower individuals with disabilities with digital and professional skills for sustainable employment.
- Upskill career counsellors and trainers to use AI tools and inclusive guidance methods.
- Engage employers in inclusive hiring and workplace adaptation practices.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Development of an AI-driven methodological framework and open educational resources.
- Creation of an AI-Powered Career Guidance Toolkit including accessibility features such as speech-to-text, sign language translation, audio narration, and CV builder.
- Training of 25 career counsellors, 75 job seekers, and 20 employers across five countries.
- Pilot testing of the toolkit and educational materials in real-life career guidance settings.
- Dissemination and policy recommendations to ensure long-term use in VET and employment services.
EXPECTED RESULTS
- An AI-powered open-access platform for inclusive career guidance.
- A Career Counsellor’s Manual and training curriculum for professionals.
- Improved digital, communication, and employability skills among people with disabilities.
- Stronger cooperation between VET institutions, NGOs, and employers to promote equality and accessibility in the labour market.
